History

Rolla Pub is a little American style building that has become a landmark of the Rolla community. Originally established as the Columbia Hotel, it has been continuously running since its foundation in 1920.

Over 20 years ago, the building was converted into a pub which has now become famous for its display of local history through the newspaper clippings, photographs, and artifacts that make up its decor.

In 2006, it received designation as a heritage building from the Peace River Regional District.

The owner, Patti Martin, has been hard at work compiling a complete history in order to secure funding to fully restore this aging building. This would ensure generations to come will also get the chance to enjoy this favorite local gathering place that so many others already know and love.
